Larry and Cheryl Waye join the DBC pastoral staff from Rochester, NY where Larry ministered for 22 years at the First Bible Baptist Church. During his tenure he served in almost all positions of the local church, including Director of Music, Public Relations, Northstar Bible Institute, Sunday Schools and Adult Ministries. Most recently he was the Director of Outreach and Development of the 88 acres Grace and Truth SportsPark.

Larry was saved as a child, surrendered to the call of God to ministry in 1971, and has ministered in churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio, Illinois and New York, serving in every capacity of church work including Senior Pastor over the past 34 years.

Cheryl trusted Christ in 1989 has ministered to hundreds of families over the last 16 years as a teacher at the Northstar Christian Academy, a ministry of First Bible Baptist Church.

You can find them on a golf course, exercising, playing ball or riding bicycles when not involved in ministry somewhere at DBC.
