WOMEN'S MINISTRY
 
 
WOW is hosting a Dinner and a Movie on Friday, July 23rd. A cookout style meal will be served at the Pavilion beginning at 6:30 PM. We will have a great time of food, fellowship and activities; Volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, hillbilly golf and more under the trees. Even if you aren’t a “player” please come and join in the fellowship. We will move to the cool indoors at 8:00 PM for a showing of “The Ultimate Gift.” The meal is free, but movie concessions will cost you $1! Make plans now to be a part of this great night of hanging out with the ladies of DBC. Please help us with the planning by picking up a free ticket in the Gatheria beginning July 7th. Don’t forget to bring a chair!
 
The Women's Ministry of Decatur Baptist (WOW) is focused on motivating, supporting, and encouraging women to be all that God would have them to be. Only by having the desire to seek God's everlasting way can a woman become a complete, total and fulfilled woman of God.
 
Ministry Verse

Ministry Goals

BURDEN: Women need women to help them on the way everlasting.

VISION: Seeing women unite and move in the everlasting way.
 

Purpose/Plan

As woman, wonderfully created by God, we will encourage
other women to become:
 
Women of Wisdom: Titus 2: 3, 4 – “he aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,”

Women of Works: Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
 
We not only will be led by God on the Way Everlasting, but we will lead others in the same way. There are several ministry opportunities...contact Amy Wright for more information
