Rev. Larry Franks – Children's Pastor

Larry Franks now serves as Pastor to Children and has been at Decatur Baptist for 8 years. Larry has 23 years of full time ministry experience. He grew up in a pastor's home and was saved at the age of nine. Larry is married to Jessica Franks and has two daughters, Chelsea (19) and Hannah (13).
Larry serves in many capacities in our community and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for First Priority of Greater Decatur. Larry also serves as a Campus Coach for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy with First Priority. Larry loves children and students and is determined to continue to follow God’s calling on his life to serve and minister to them. He has a passion to see children grow in their relationships with God and to help them discover their identity in Christ and His kingdom.
Larry’s hobbies include spending time with family, playing golf, and watching sports. He is an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan.
